About
CouchGlue is all about figuring out how people work – how we live, how we form different kinds of relationships, and all those complicated emotions. I’m Gail Stewart, the founder, and my goal was to create a place where I could share the stuff I’ve learned about how we interact with each other. I’ve been geeking out on relationship and lifestyle stuff for over 15 years. I used to work as a writer and content analyst for big websites, figuring out what kinds of articles people loved, and now I’m super excited to have my own site and I hope that the content I provide will keep you glued to your couch!
I mix in science, psychology, and a whole lot of real-life experience to help you make sense of it all. Now, I’m definitely not some all-knowing guru! Everything here is mostly my opinion based on what I’ve learned (save for the stuff I provide scientific sources for, of course). You won’t get a diagnosis from me – that’s your doctor’s job. If anything you read here worries you, go have a chat with them.
I write a mix of things – quick lists that make you think, longer articles that go deeper, and big guides about how people tick. It’s all about relationships, being single, dating, family… all of it! My goal is to dig into why we do the things we do, so we can all figure ourselves out a bit better (myself included!).
If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, I always love hearing from you! Reach out to me directly at [email protected] or give me a call at +44 0203 0261734 at any time. I’m listening, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
